My Body is a Political Erotic Playground started around a table: a series of intimate gatherings where disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent and mad people came together to talk openly about sex, intimacy, access, care, bodies and desire. Rooted in nothing about us without us, these Erotic Labs created space to share stories, laugh about awkwardness, ask difficult questions and imagine new erotic possibilities together.

But the conversations didn’t stay at the table. Words, jokes, frustrations and desires began turning into T-shirts, publications, stickers, safer-space tools, condoms and other social design objects. Each product carries a little piece of the conversations and politics that emerged from the Erotic Labs into the outside world.

Erotic Lab is part research, part community, part art project and part troublemaking. A growing archive of disabled desire and a reminder that access can be sexy, pleasure can be political, and disabled bodies deserve to take up space.
